I was born in Lima, Peru. My family migrated to Florida in the late 80's, so I consider myself a native Floridian. I’ve spent most of my career in higher education, and over the past 20 years I’ve really enjoyed working in roles where I can help people while also making sure the operations behind the scenes run smoothly. Most recently, I’ve been a Registrar at LECOM, where I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with medical education, faculty, students, and leadership while managing records, reporting, compliance, and a lot of moving pieces. I’m naturally someone who likes to stay organized, solve problems, and find ways to make processes easier and more efficient for everyone. I also really enjoy building relationships and being someone that people can come to when they need help or have a problem that needs to be worked through. I’m excited about GME because it feels like a natural next step for me to take the experience I’ve built in higher education and medical education and use it to support residents, faculty, and the overall success of the program.
